Script finished

I've finally finished annotating and retyping the script. Now I have to print off several copies of the script for actors and actresses to learn. We are waiting for auditions although we have several potentials lined up. I have also posted the final shooting script onto the Facebook page for this production. The link for which is here: https://www.facebook.com/devilsheart666

Storyboards Finished

The storyboards are now finished, about 12 double-sided pages. I gave them to Jodie who will now work on a camera script. Meanwhile, me and Holly went to both locations we have, to do location recce's and risk assessment forms. The locations were in Treorchy and Ferndale. All that's left now, is to wait on auditions and find an appropriate 'box' amongst other props. If Holly handles the rest of pre-production efficiently, we could enter principal photography before the 17th of December.

Script and Storyboards

I've started annotating the script, making small changes with the flow of dialogue and also rewriting some scenes to accommodate locations such as not being able to have 2 beds in one room. I've also started the storyboards, taking into consideration every shot that I think I'll need, so as to make the filming on set as streamlined as possible. This as you can imagine may take more time than expected, but if done this way, I'll know and remember exactly what to shoot on the days of filming and add in any extra shots or ideas if needed.

Groups and Ideas

Today I found out that I'm in a group with Holly and Jodie. Holly is the Producer, Jodie is the Cinematographer and I am the Director. We've been given Jodie's script to put on the screen and the first thing we did was arrange and organise what we needed to do in each of our roles. Myself and Jodie talked about potential actors and actresses, location ideas and prop ideas. We made a rough list and when Holly came in, she made and emailed us our roles and specific tasks.
